Unidentifed Photographs from Emma Staack's Albums
There were two heavy velvet covered albums that were in Hildred (Thurow) Wilson's possession when she died. It is assumed that she received this from her mother, Emma (Staack) Thurow. Unknown - Portrait of man and woman - 1885
Photographer is Chas. A. Tenney, Winona, MN.
This is probably a son and daughter-in-law of Mathias and Mary (Peterson) Staack. Because of the year it was taken, it might be their oldest son, Gustavas, who was born in 1855 which would make him 30 years old in the photograph. His wife, Sarah, was born in 1861 and she would have been 24 at the time the portrait was taken.
