Aline Grant Crane, 72, died Thursday in Redlands. She was a lifetime resident of Redlands. She worked for the telephone company for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Verner Crane of Redlands; 2 daughters, Glenda Van Vorst Browning of Woodside, CA; and Bobette Van Vorst Felton of Salten Sea Beach, CA; 2 sisters, Lalla Stell of Pomona and Ruth Reid of Riverside; and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Cortner-Pierce Bros. Chapel, the Rev. Rex Britt of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Hillside Memorial Park.

Dorothy married Verner Oliver Crane in 1972 in , Marin County, California, USA. Verner (son of James Raymond Crane and Lecta Marion Sutton) was born on 8 Dec 1906 in Walla Walla, Walla Walla County, Washington, USA; died on 7 Nov 2002 in Indio, Riverside County, California, USA; was buried in Redlands, San Bernardino County, California, USA, Hillside Memorial Park.
