HISTORICAL CEMETERY #: NK097 STUKELY BROWN NORTH KINGSTOWN RI Location: 200 ft north of TEN ROD RD 18 burials with 11 inscriptions NOTE: Off north side of Ten Rod Rd up a private road about 3/10 mi. west of Rte.4 interchange, between a golf course and the new Masonic Lodge. Lot is about 200 feet in from Ten Rod Rd, behind a stone wall on the right. Formerly walled on four sides; heavy equipment has broken entrance gate and western part of wall. Lot recently cleared of vegetation. Stones are toppled and broken from years of neglect. Harris called this an old Lawton burial ground on the land of Joseph H. Brown. When surveyed on 25 March1880, lot was walled and faced in good condition. Burials in north end of lot may have once existed, but are now gone. This cemetery has been recorded and checked
