• Notes

  From records located in Barnet Township, Vermont, Alden appears to have married Polly Haseltine. On the 1850 census from McHenry, Illinois, however, she is listed as Mary. She is also listed in that census as being 45 years of age, which would make her birthdate about 1805. Need to do further research to determine if Polly and Mary were the same person or if Alden first married Polly and then Mary.
