  • Notes
    • NOTES:
1880 census for Grand River, Cass Co., Missouri lists Lincoln McAnally living with his brother, B.W. McAnally (as are his parents, W.R. and Elizabeth)
      ************************
1900 census, Mr. Pleasant Twsp., Butler, Bates Co., Missouri lists:
      Abraham L. McAnally 41 B: Indiana Febr. 1859
      Elizabeth 36 B: Kansas May 1864
      Franklin G. 17 B: Missouri Sept. 1889
      Daisy D. 16 B: Missouri Mar. 1884
      Benjamin H. 11 B: Missouri Sept. 1889
      Minnie L. 9 B: Missouri Jan. 1891

The above was quoted from the descendant chart for Henry McAnally compiled by Alice Mendes. Ms. Mendes adds the following note:
"The birthdate for Franklin is obviously wrong. He could not have been born 6 months before Daisy and her birthdate is verified through Soc. Sec. Records. Cousins said he was born Oct. 2, 1892."
      ***************************
      (Continuing Ms. Mendes's remarks--)
1920 census, Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri lists:
      Abraham L. McAnally 64 B: Indiana
      Elizabeth M. 55 B: Kansas wife
      Daisy D. 33 B: Missouri daughter
      Benjamin H. 30 B: Missouri son
      Minnie L. 16 B: Missouri daughter
      Conley 2 B: Missouri son
      Isabel Copeland 78 B: Illinois mother-in-law

The ages for Daisy and Minnie are wrong. Daisy should be abt. 36
      and Minnie about 29.
      ***************************]
"Link" McAnally was a railroad conductor for about 20 years. After
a train was involved in a head on collision, he was fired. He then
worked for Standard Oil Co. for about 12 years.
In 1924, "Link" was alive and living in Independence, Missouri. [2]
