- Timothy Smith, 72, of Buffalo City, passed away on December 9, 2025, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Tim was born on May 15, 1953, in Winona to Eldridge and Harriet Smith. He graduated from Winona Senior High School and spent his working years as a carpenter and fencing contractor, bringing care and creativity to every project. He enjoyed playing pool, duck hunting, fishing, and boat rides on the Mississippi River with his family.
Tim was married to Lori Smith. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, finding joy in watching them grow and sharing the everyday moments that mattered most to him.
Tim is survived by his wife, Lori Smith; his children, Tyler Smith, stepson Dylan Koscianski, and stepdaughter Cassie Koscianski; his grandchildren Tegan Smith, Julian Smith, Blaine Smith, Isabella Smith, Liam Smith, Ashton Koscianski, and Santiago Koscianski Teixeira; his sister, Cheryl Lange; and his beloved dog, Ria.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lucas Smith, and siblings, Kenneth Schreiber, Mary Moham, Diana Simon, and Irene Forster.
A celebration of life will be held on January 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Comforts of Home – The Bluffs, located at 1111 Heggen Street, Hudson, Wis. The service will take place in the sunroom. Tim will be remembered for his love of building and fixing things, his time spent outdoors, and the way he cared for others by helping whenever he could. [2]
