  Obituary of Robert L. Hoesing Robert L. Hoesing, age 78, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on June 25, 2011 in Colorado Springs. Robert was born on January 2, 1933 in Crofton, Nebraska, a son of the late Leroy H. and Iola Davis Hoesing. Robert had served in the US Army. He was a retired school teacher and coach from Harrison School District # 2. He had also worked as a Business Development Manager. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. He is survived by his wife, DeVoe J. Beems Hoesing, 3 children, Dawn (Dave) Bellis, David Hoesing and Jane (Mike) Williams, 2 step-daughters, Colleen Sandberg and Corrine (Bill) Transue, a sister, Sherry (Bill) Rasmus, a brother, Gary (Lois) Kinny, half-sister, Janice (Bill)Strop, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Alice A. McPherson Hoesing in August of 1992. Robert never met a person he didn't like or one who didn't like him. At his request, cremation has taken place with private family services. Memorial donations may be made to the Colorado Division of Wildlife through the funeral home office.
