  Paul Amos Hood was the son of Frank Hood and Clydie Tribby. He was adopted by his uncle and aunt, Michael Hood and Ellen Payne. His paternal grandparents were Amos L. Hood and Matilda Goist. He married Mildred Clark. In 1900 Paul was living with his uncle and aunt, Michael and Ellen Hood in Brookfield, Ohio. In 1910, Paul is single and living with his uncle and aunt in West Farmington, Ohio. Paul was a foreman at a feedmill. Paul was killed when his car was struck by a passenger train at Budd Cross in Sharon, Pennsylvania. At the time of his death Paul operated a garage in Brookfield, Ohio.
