This is a good book that follows up on the first book of the trilogy, but seems quite different from the first.  It starts when a discovery is made of a partially mummified body in a peat bog.  The quest to identify the body leads to some startling discoveries.

Peter May mixes in a detective mystery, genealogy, DNA, and very interesting characters.  Overall, a very well-done novel
