  Marin Independent Journal Wednesday, December 22, 1999 Barbara Crane Mann, a San Rafael resident, died December 15, 1999. She was 83. Mrs. Mann was born in Redlands and later moved to San Francisco where she met and married her late husband Phil Mann. The family moved to Marin County in 1945, lived in Sleepy Hollow for many years and moved to Sonoma in 1970. She moved back to San Rafael 2 years ago. Mrs. Mann worked as a secretary for several years at Ross Valley Savings and Loan in San Anselmo, and also for the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce. She was a past member of the Legend Club in Sleepy Hollow. She is survived by her brother Vern Crane of Thermal; daughters Carolyn Schwab of San Rafael, and Phyllis Vasco and Donna Sousa of Petaluma; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. At her request, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Marin. [1]
