  He married (1) Ann Bradford who may have been a daughter of Thomas Bradford of Dovenlier, Yorkshire, England. He married (2) Elizabeth, widow of Thomas Lechford, probably in England. (Thomas Lechford was the first lawyer to practise in Boston, but not being successful thence returned to London.) Samuel Wildbore was exiled from the Church of Boston because he followed the teachings of Ann Hutchingson and in 1637 he became on of the founders of Portsmouth, RI. He was wealthy for the times and had houses and lands in Tauriton, MA, Portsmouth and Little Compton, RI.
