  BIO: Thomas McANALLY's father was one of the pioneer settlers of Fulton Co.. The family settled on "The BUMBARGER farm" a few miles northwest of Rochester, IN. Thomas was among the first in the county to enlist for the Civil War."...While in the army he contracted diseases that finally culminated in his death. He has been an invalid ever since....residence with Mr. (James) KEELEY/KEELY...while consumption did its deadly work..." Notes from Wilma (MOW) FOLTZ state that the obituary printed in the "Rochester Sentinel" appeared during the week of 20-27 OCT. 1883. Exact date of death is not known. (Taken from "Newspaper Excerpts", p 138; Fulton County Pub. Lib.; Rochester, IN): "Rochester Chronicle"- Thursday, March 17, 1864: "Sargeant THOMAS McANNALLY, of Co.
