  From History of Washington and Kent Counties, Rhode Island p. 1230. Oliver R. Brown, born in 1832, is a son of William and grandson of Stukley. He was brought up on a farm. He opened a blacksmith shop in Wickford in 1856, and has since carried on business there. He was married in 1861 to Abbie E. Hunt, who died in 1871. He was married again in 1873 to Sarah W. Tisdale. His children are: Walter O., Elisha P., Frank e. and Ella M.
