  From the Winona Republican Herald, Tuesday, May 7, 1906, p. 6 Probate Court Amos L. Holcomb, Bertha, Cecile, sie, and Harry Holcomb, children of Frank Holcomb and wife ranging in age from three to twelve have been sent to the state school in Owatonna. The father lives at Richmond and the wife in Winona, and neither are in a position to give the children proper care.
