This is the story of a sixty-year-old man, Liam,\u00c2\u00a0who has lost one wife, is divorced from another, and has just lost his job as a first grade teacher in a private elementary school.\u00c2\u00a0 He decides to retire and move to an apartment in another part of town.<\/p>\n

Liam grasps for one last chance for love and meaning\u00c2\u00a0in his life.<\/p>\n

The story is a bit of a downer and\u00c2\u00a0the main characters and his family are\u00c2\u00a0disfunctional.\u00c2\u00a0 The narrator seems to capture all of this fairly well.\u00c2\u00a0 The end result is not particularly satisfying.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\"two<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
