I think the problem is the main character, whom I didn&#8217;t like one bit.  It wasn&#8217;t that he was a criminal but rather that he had a lifestyle that I just can&#8217;t identify with.  He seems perfectly fine with living it up, spending a great deal of his time in bars, chasing women, and acquiring (or forging) expensive cars. I am not condemning his criminal activities, but he is just not someone I enjoy reading about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another issue I have with the book is that seems shallow.  It&#8217;s written in a journalistic style that sometimes seems to keep the emotional aspects of Mr. Tetro at a distance.  After reading the book, I felt unsatisfied in that I didn&#8217;t quite get the whole story.
