{"id":1524,"date":"2013-11-15T20:35:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-16T02:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wilsonld.com\/weblog\/?p=1524"},"modified":"2015-05-31T08:57:20","modified_gmt":"2015-05-31T14:57:20","slug":"the-ferguson-affair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wilsonld.com\/weblog\/?p=1524","title":{"rendered":"The Ferguson Affair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>by Ross Macdonald, 1960, republished in 2010 by Vintage Books, a division of Random House<\/p>\n<p>I chose this book for my Kindle as I was going on a month vacation and needed a book that would be light reading.\u00c2\u00a0 Another reason I chose it was that Ross Macdonald (aka, Kenneth Millar)\u00c2\u00a0was an officer on the same\u00c2\u00a0aircraft carrier\u00c2\u00a0my father was on in WWII, the <em>U.S.S.
